Capture NX - Videos

Tutorial Movie ONE -- Basic Capture NX Features
total run time: 2:46

In this opening movie we explain the basic functions of the most often used features of Capture NX including the file browser, file directory, camera settings and IPTC information. We’ll also take a look at the bird’s eye, edit list, and photo info palettes. This is a good first look at the new user interface.

Tutorial Movie TWO -- U PointTM Technology Revealed
total run time: 6:19

The intuitive and amazingly simple to use "Colour Control Points" are illustrated as we completely change almost every aspect of a photograph in just minutes. Photographers will learn how to work directly on their image, making subtle or dramatic changes very simply in a non-destructive manner without the use of any selection tools. Hue, saturation, brightness, contrast, red, green, blue, and warmth as well as a custom colour picker are all controls now available at your fingertips.

Tutorial Movie THREE -- Dynamic Range with White & Black Control Points
total run time: 4:31

In this segment a photograph is dramatically changed in terms controlling the vignetting or darkening of the corners of a wide-angle photograph. In addition, the complete range of contrast is easily achieved with a few quick mouse clicks using the helpful double threshold feature found in Capture NX.

Tutorial Movie FOUR -- Enhancement Tools
total run time: 4:20

Applying a particular contrast, colour or tonality in a specific area is now easy with new selection brush. Working with the newly combined levels and curves palette certain areas of the photograph can be painted based on the desired effect by the photographer. In the example image depth is achieved by adding selective contrast as well as a touch of warmth.
