Anomalies that may incur extra costs

New web sites with new web space are easy to set up. However; you (the client) may have a web site that you may have had created and now want a professional one. You may have your own domain name, and think you own and control it. Or you may be unhappy with the performance of your previous web designer, who sorted out the domain name and space, and want to move to a more professional company. If you are in this situation be aware that there may be problems ahead!

• If you already own your own domain name, and web space, then you must supply Dac Systems with the 'FTP' username and password for the web space.
• If you already own your own domain name, but are using free web space you will probably want professional web space (hosting). It is up to you, the client, to sort out the transfer of the domain name to the new web space. We can arrange this for £100..
• If there is conflict or disagreement on who is the registered owner / administrator of the web space (for example a previous designer, or if the current hosting company refuses to change the ID Tag) We can attempt to sort out the problem for £100.
• Please be aware that this can often be a long and tortuous process. Clearly it is not our fault that you, the client, have problems with your past hosting company or web design company.
